Sometimes things don’t go to plan and today was one of those days. Unlike yesterday where things seemed to fall into place having Dalma fall asleep in the car and sleep through the entire run, today could easily been seen as the opposite.
Picked Dalma up at lunch…. Attempted to get a coffee…. Screaming child pointing to go outside…. Coffee tipped from a mug and into a paper cup… Screaming child pointing at everything in Mammut… Figured it was time to go home and she might fall asleep… She falls asleep on me on the tram home but immediately wakes up when we get off… Refuses to sleep when we get home… Wait for the next opportunity but it doesn’t come.
In the end she would fall asleep way too late in the afternoon for our liking before her mum would get home and I would have to head out the door for a mind numbingly cold and boring run around the local park unlike yesterday’s Normafa winter wonderland run.
Tue, 16 Jan. 2018 • Warm up for 10 minutes. • Run in Z4, threshold, 5 minutes. Run in Z2, recovery, 1.25 minutes. Repeat 4 times. • Cool down, 5 to 10 minutes. • Stretch.
