A date has now been set for Vivicitta 2018 half marathon for the 15th April. With the Hungarian elections now taking place the weekend before we can train with certainty of when to taper off our training.
Today’s Garmin half marathon training
plan had an 80 minute long run lined up for today. After looking out the window it didn’t look like anytime would be nice to run today thanks to the rain so I bit the bullet and decided to get it out of the in the morning and leave Dalma at home asleep with her mum.
The run felt good keeping within the zone 2 heart rates easily and having part of the run on #margitsziget only a few people overtook me and I was even able to overtake people for a change. Since running with Dalma I have felt slow but know the training is showing improvements since my last solo long run on New year’s Eve.
