Today was a bit hectic with the Mór Fit Run Original this morning, editing video and driving back to Budapest. Although the workflow of a run day is getting much more streamlined it always feels like more could be done for Mor Fit Run.
Writing blog posts and making videos were put to side in place of my first long run in a long time. On arrival to Margaretisland the sun was setting and I couldn’t think of a better place to do my last run for 2018. If it wasn’t for committing to a running plan and having it in my daily calendar there would have been no way I would have headed back out the door after getting home
Having started out on the run I had no idea how to pace myself apart from trying to stick to my heart rate zone. The pace started around 6:30 min/km at the start but by the end of the run i was more averaging out to 7:40 min/km. It was tempting to run out of the zone but I know that with continual training this pace will improve as i get a few more weeks of the running plan completed.
Having ticked of the long run for the day it was time to reflect on 2017 with the family and look towards 2018. 🙂
