We have been back in Mór for the past week celebrating Christmas with family and friends. Mór is where we first moved back to in Hungary when we left Berlin in 2013. On moving to Mór we came up with the idea to create a free 5km RUN to get to know the local running community.... or to see if there was any interest in running. We often get back to Mór to visit Janka's Parent's. This year was extra special for us as it was Dalma's first Christmas.
With all the Christmas festivities and the lack of running I have done since the Budapest marathon I felt the need to get back into regular running. After running with Robyn last Friday I knew I had lost much of my fitness when I saw how high my heart rate was for what I would call an easy pace.
Today's run was to be another easy run lasting for only 30 minutes, to ease my way back into the swing of things. Just as predicted I had lost so much fitness from not running that my heart rate was never going to average around the 145bpm like it should for an easy run.
I also failed miserably at recording a time lapse video attempting to catch the sunrise. At the moment the Vlogs are being created with a Samsung Galaxyy 6, far from ideal. When you watch the video you will see that the phone falls over 4 times throughout the run.... another reason we can't wait for a few late deliveries which missed Christmas to add to our #MFRstory gear.
