#MFRstories Vlog3 Tamás

by admin, December 29, 2016

Today I had the opportunity to catch up with one of our Mór Fit Run Original runners who participated in our first ever RUN 3 years ago. This guy has made some serious gains in the 3 years as I struggled to keep up with him on today's run through the scenic wine area between Mór and Csókakő.

We have been following Tamás's progression since he kept bettering him 5km times at our Mór Fit Run Original event. Back then we had a shirt sponsor who supplied shirts to everyone how was able to receive a running shirt if they beat their previous best. With our new website recognising personal bests and fastest runners in age divisions we hope to get back into giving away shirts.

During the run Tamás told me how much he is got into running since first starting with us and is now really into trail running. This year he participated in all of the Terepfutas events where he consistently posted good times for his division and is hoping to receive a high placing in the overall yearly results.

It was quite evident he was happy running up the inclines while I pleaded with him to slow down a bit as I saw my heart rate go through the roof. We can understand the appeal of Terepfutas, they are set in great scenic locations around Hungary, create great images of their events and create great interesting content that is useful to their runners. This is something we strive to do with Mor Fit Run.

The next time we might meet Tamás is at this Saturday' Mór Fit Run Original (if he is not on parenting duties) which is a December special. Each year we run the course in reverse and finish infront of one of our runners house, László, for hot tea. You might get to meet him in our next vlog 🙂

Do you have a story to tell?
