Today we were still I Mór and the training plan had a steady run lined up for today. After yesterday’s easy run through the Ezerjo 5k road course of hills I wanted to run a no brainer with predictable pacing. Yesterday’s pace was everywhere thanks to the hills so running on the track would give me a better idea of where my pace is at now after a years break from daily running.
Today’s average pace was a slow 6:30 min/km but I know after 16 weeks of disciplined training my aerobic and anaerobic energy systems will improve along with my pace.
Today’s running playlist included John’s Lennon’s “Merry Xmas”
So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun…
I got thinking of what have we done at Mor Fit Run. We have got runners together each month seeing 5k times but our numbers have dropped a bit over the past year which makes me think we are doing something wrong. If your look at our website nothing has changed for the past 2 years which has been a disappointment for us.
Although it might look like we haven’t achieved much I know a lot a work is being done in the background and this is what makes me feel positive for 2018 and the hope we can bring more runners together, then we have ever before, in the new year.
