Originally today was supposed to be a rest day and with yesterday being an easy run. The only problem being is Thursday are the least convenient days to run being my only full time day at work. For the training plan to work I need to adjust the plan so that Thurday’s would be a rest day. This was pretty easy to fix by dragging the plan a day forward, as a result my rest days now fall on Sunday and Thursday and moving my Long Runs to Saturdays.
With the plan readjusted I now had a hill run lined up for today. Although running with a pram is similar to running up hills it was tempting to just run on the flat but then thought I should do my best to stick to the plan and target a different set of muscles on this run. I decided to run up Gellert for the picturesque views to reward ourselves with after the run.
Sticking to the heart rates my breathing became quite heavy which is expected to running in zone 4. I found a bit of a loop taking us of the road and more into park land around the hill. We did this a few times to satisfy the duration and repetitions of the plan.
On finishing the run we walked around the top of the hill taking in the views over the Danube and put the drone up for some shots. There were many tourists about and I didn’t feel comfortable having it up for a long period of time. After attempting a quick few shots we headed back down the hill. Just as we almost made it back to the highway I spotted a great vista and put the drone up one last time and got the footage for the closing of the video
