It’s almost been a month of the garmin halfmarathon training plan and I’m glad to say I haven’t missed a day yet. The plan was saying Fartlek so I was a bit of a no brainer when it came to pacing and heart rate as it’s up to you how you change your pace and intensity through the run.
I was surprised not too far into the run my Garmin was telling me that my heart rate was too high. I just assumed that for some reason this Fartlek was preconfigured to run at a lower heart rate. It wasn’t until I created this video did I realise I selected an easy run from my workouts instead of choosing my training calendar.
I ignored the watch telling me to run slower luckily and ran the paces u had wanted to.
